Russell Kennedy has commenced a firm-wide pilot of Cicero, the litigation focused AI platform developed by Automatise, to explore how artificial intelligence can enhance litigation workflows and client service across the firm.

The pilot is part of Russell Kennedy’s broader digital transformation strategy and reflects the firm’s commitment to leveraging technology to improve outcomes for clients.

“We see real potential for AI to support our lawyers, particularly in the area of litigation,” said Russell Kennedy’s Managing Director, Paul Gleeson. “Our focus is on solutions that deliver practical value to our clients, and this firm-wide pilot with Cicero is an important step in that direction.”

“In litigation and investigations, where accuracy, efficiency and analysis are critical, AI has the potential to support our lawyers in managing complex matters and workflows,” said Marika Hubble-Marriott, Head of Dispute Resolution. “Our focus is on leveraging technology that enhances how we serve our clients, and this pilot with Cicero integrates secure AI into our litigation practices in a way that delivers tangible value.”

Leading the initiative is Michael Veasey, the firms Director of Digital Transformation who added: “Cicero stands out because it is purpose-built for litigation. It is intuitive and works the way lawyers work, which is critical to adoption and to creating efficiencies in case preparation and analysis.”

Joseph Rayment, CEO of Automatise, said: “We’re excited to partner with Russell Kennedy and to demonstrate the value of specialist AI designed specifically for litigators.”
